Today, connectivity determines everything: from safety to working in any conditions. That's why we develop communication systems for a variety of use cases: from providing for the military and critical infrastructure to ensuring uninterrupted business operations and private use. After all, a sudden loss of network means stopping various processes and incurring losses, while stable communication can even save lives.
Adaptis' initial developments were created exclusively for the needs of the military, where equipment undergoes extreme testing daily. The main task was to transform a civilian terminal into a resilient means of communication. This required a complete redesign of the structure and adaptation of the device for use on the front lines, where stable communication is needed every second.
"When Adaptis was created, the issue at that time was not that Starlink was bulky – we were thinking not about civilian use, but for the military. We were looking at moisture resistance, and for it to be shock-resistant, for example, from fragments. Back then, we didn't pay attention to its weight (editor's note – Starlink) or dimensions, because we understood that people would be mounting it on military equipment," explained Mykola Kalinichenko, CEO of Adaptis. "And this solution turned out to be strategically correct, as precisely such an engineering approach, focused on maximum protection, created a strong foundation for all future products of the company."
Starlink itself was originally designed for private homes in remote areas where there is no communication. The appearance of Starlink in Ukraine was due to the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and since then, its use cases have expanded significantly: from working in the field to direct installation on vehicles. This is why Starlink requires additional protection, regardless of where it is used.
Although the terminal has basic protection against rain or dust, it is vulnerable to blast waves, fragments, and impacts. In addition, constant driving, dirt, vibrations, and bad weather gradually wear out the device and can disable it at the most inopportune moment.
That is why we have developed protective cases made of durable ABS plastic, which can be quickly and easily mounted on transport with magnetic feet. We have also provided various power options – from the vehicle's onboard network, power banks, or charging stations. Thanks to powerful neodymium magnets, the case stays securely on the roof of a car or armored vehicle even when driving at high speeds or off-road.
The reliability of Adaptis solutions is confirmed by real-life situations. A telling incident occurred in April of this year. An enemy "Shahed" drone hit the house of Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov, an advisor to the President of Ukraine on the development of technological defense areas. As a result of the impact, the building was severely damaged, but the terminal in the Adaptis case remained intact and continued to operate. The protective case absorbed the entire impact and melted from the high temperature, but completely preserved the device.
This incident demonstrated the main point: quality materials and a well-thought-out design can save equipment in extreme conditions.
The need for reliable protection also exists in everyday life. Farmers in the fields, carriers, businesses during blackouts, and travelers need stable communication constantly and everywhere. Our cases allow Starlink to be used anywhere – they are designed for the harshest conditions while remaining compact and easy to use.
Adaptis' mission is to protect your connection in any conditions. It is important to us that our customers are always online – in a hot spot, in the field, or on the road.
We continue to improve our solutions daily and confirm their reliability in practice. Your safety and constant access to the network are our top priorities. Choose proven protection for your equipment today and stay connected under all circumstances, wherever you are.
