The second charity festival "CHEKAFEST 2.0" took place on May 30, with Adaptis as its technology partner.
This event is dedicated to the memory of Iryna "Cheka" Tsybukh — a paramedic of the Hospitallers battalion, a public figure, a media personality, and a Hero of Ukraine, who died on May 29, 2024. The festival was held on the eve of her birthday and became a space of community, music, learning, and preserving the memory of those who fought for our present.
This day combined beautiful Ukrainian traditions with a good cause. The main charitable goal of the event was to raise UAH 1,800,000 for two ground robotic complexes (GRCs) for the 503rd separate marine infantry battalion, with which Iryna worked during rotations.

How Adaptis provided connectivity at the festival
Our Adaptis team acted as the official technology partner of the event. Since the festival took place on the territory of the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in Shevchenkivskyi Grove, where mobile communication is weak and completely absent during mass events, our main task was to deploy a stable internet network.

"There is no internet at the location at all. And moreover, at the event, during the concert, a charity auction was held. When you win, you need to go to the stage, catch Wi-Fi and transfer the donation. And that would have been difficult if it weren't for our solutions," shared Adaptis sales manager Victoria.
To ensure uninterrupted internet for organizers, participants, and guests, we deployed a satellite network using Adaptis kits with Starlink. High-speed Wi-Fi worked at three key points of the festival:
Entrance area
Stable internet allowed organizers to instantly and without delay scan visitors' QR codes, avoiding queues at registration.
Festival music stage
Here was our Adaptis Cafe location, where guests could use high-speed internet and talk to our team about our satellite communication solutions. And it was very necessary here for conducting the charity auction.
Fair
We connected a separate point for the veteran and craft business market. Thanks to this, artisans and guests could pay for purchases cashless.
Impressions of the Adaptis team from «CHEKAFEST 2.0»
Our sales manager Victoria, who worked at the location, also shared her emotions from the festival:
"This festival is simply incredible! Amazing, idealistic people gathered there: Iryna's friends and acquaintances, veterans, young people, many families with children, ordinary Lviv residents. What impressed me most was that absolutely everyone wore vyshyvanka — it looked like a big national holiday of unity and memory.
At the fair, incredible craft items were sold, and I couldn't resist buying a vyshyvanka created by the Tsybukh family — it's their family's cultural heritage."
An important part of the event was the presence of Ukrainian veterans, particularly soldiers in wheelchairs and with prosthetics. The festival created a fully inclusive, accepting, and friendly environment for them, where everyone felt part of a large, friendly community.
Results
We at Adaptis were sincerely glad to be part of this important event. For our team, it is an opportunity to support the principles and views that Iryna Tsybukh always spoke about. For us, communication is first and foremost about unity, deep communication, and uniting people around common values. This philosophy fully resonates with our company's culture.
We are proud that our solutions helped provide fast communication for the entire event and contribute to a good cause.
We thank the festival team for their trust. We will be happy to provide reliable satellite communication for "CHEKAFEST" next year as well!
