On June 3, 2025, Starlink officially introduced a new antenna called Starlink Performance. This terminal has become the most durable and powerful among all models in the civilian line.
In early April, we already wrote that Starlink could introduce a new business antenna in 2025. And now this has been confirmed: Performance is already available for order by commercial customers in the US.

Reliability and high performance in difficult conditions
According to information from the official Starlink website , the Performance kit is designed for use in harsh climatic and technical conditions: in regions with strong winds, heavy snowfalls, high humidity and vibration, as well as in motion (but we know that even models that do not provide for this work with the Adaptis modification in motion).
Technical characteristics of the device:
- Maximum download speed — over 400 Mbps, with the prospect of reaching 1 Gbps in the future (without the need to replace equipment);
- Withstands winds up to 270 km/h and operates in a temperature range from –40 °C to +60 °C;
- Case protection: IIP68 (when turned off) and IP69K (when powered) — which allows the terminal to withstand both pressure washing and temporary immersion in water for up to 30 minutes;
- Improved snow melting system that can handle precipitation up to 85 mm/h;
- Intelligent diagnostics, PoE and LAN support, and real-time monitoring capabilities make the antenna optimal for critical infrastructure or industrial applications.
The kit also includes an advanced power supply with battery backup support, and the terminal itself can withstand a shock load of 50G.
Technical features of the terminal
The Starlink Performance antenna is an electronic phased array with a 140° field of view. Orientation is manual, using software. Terminal weight is 5.2 kg. Average power consumption is 75-100W.
The kit includes a standard mounting option. The terminal itself can operate in both stationary and mobile mode - on vehicles, masts or technical platforms.
Comment from an expert from Ukraine regarding the Performance antenna
Additional details about the new antenna were released by Volodymyr Stepanets, an expert from the Ukrainian community " Narodny Starlink" . In his material, he notes that Starlink Performance:
- consumes from 110 to 150W in typical mode and up to 180W in peak mode;
- supports power supply via PoE unit from 100–240V AC;
- works with a Wi-Fi 5 router that transmits a signal in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
The standard Starlink Performance kit includes:
- terminal;
- branded cable 26.8 m;
- external PoE power supply;
- router;
- standard mounting.
Accessories are available separately, including adapters for custom mounting and Ethernet cables in various lengths (8.2m, 26.8m, 40m).
