On June 27, we joined the annual agricultural event - " All-Ukrainian Field Day 2025", which was held in the village of Yemchykha, Kyiv region. The event was attended by leading companies in the field of agribusiness: suppliers of equipment, fertilizers, agricultural solutions, as well as hundreds of farmers and specialists in the agricultural sector from all over Ukraine.
We became the technology partner of the event, and our main task was to provide stable Internet access over a large area where mobile communication is usually weak or absent. To do this, we installed several adapted Starlink Gen 3, which created reliable Wi-Fi coverage at two main locations of the event with a total area of about 10,000 m2. Organizers, participants and guests could use the Internet without any obstacles for demonstrations, communication, online broadcasts and work.

Why is satellite internet important for the agricultural sector?
Providing connectivity during such events is one example of how Starlink can solve the problem of unstable internet in the field. But in agriculture, the need for connectivity is not temporary, but constant.
More and more farmers are using precision farming technologies. These include not only drones and other cutting-edge solutions, but also, in particular, self-propelled sprayers that move through the field with high precision thanks to GPS navigation. A stable Internet connection is required to correct the GPS signal. Without it, there are delays, positioning errors, and disruptions to field processing routes.
Case study: Installing Starlink Mini on a self-propelled sprayer
We recently adapted Starlink Mini to work on a self-propelled sprayer operating on large agricultural fields in the Chernihiv region. The main goal is to ensure stable operation of the corrective GPS , which allows the equipment to work with minimal errors, accurately follow the specified routes, avoid overlaps, and save resources.
Starlink Mini was installed directly on the equipment : we mounted the antenna on the roof of the sprayer, and the power was connected to the cigarette lighter in the cabin. Due to the compactness of the Mini and simple connection without additional equipment, this option became the most convenient for the customer.
Our solution allows farmers to stay connected even in the most remote areas of the field, where other connectivity methods are unavailable.

Technologies that work in real conditions
Adapted Starlink makes it possible to use satellite Internet not only on the front, for business, at sea, but also on agricultural machinery. We design and implement solutions that take into account the type of vehicle, the method of power supply and protect your device. The first installation cases have already been implemented, and the agricultural sector's interest in such solutions is growing - both among equipment owners and among farms.
Agriculture today is not only about working on the land, but also about high-precision technologies that require stable communication. Events like Field Day 2025 only emphasize how important the role of satellite communication can be.
At Adaptis, we will continue to develop the direction of adapting Starlink for the needs of the agricultural sector. After all, communication in the field is no longer a luxury, but a necessity for the modern farmer.
